New Item Types: Bowtie, Trend, Matrix & Case Studies
The NGN introduces item types beyond standard multiple-choice: extended multiple response, cloze (drop-down) items, matrix/grid items, bowtie items (which ask you to identify a condition plus its causes and actions in one linked diagram), and trend items, where you review data across two or three time points to judge whether a patient is improving or deteriorating.
