Built by a nurse, for nurses preparing to pass
NightingalePrep was built by a dual-registered nurse who understands, firsthand, what it actually takes to prepare for the NCLEX-RN and the AHPRA OBA pathway — and who wanted to build the kind of resource we wished we'd had.
Who we are
We're a dual-registered nurse who completed the Australian pathway to registration and is currently practicing as a registered nurse in Australia. Having gone through that process firsthand — the NCLEX-RN component, the cost, the time pressure, and the uncertainty of it all — we know exactly what it feels like to be preparing for this exam the way our members are right now. We're also genuinely passionate about helping nurses succeed: teaching and mentoring others has always been part of how we practice, and NightingalePrep grew directly out of that passion — wanting to give nursing degree holders a clearer, more honest way to prepare than what we had access to.
Study on your own terms
You shouldn't need to sit in a physical classroom on someone else's schedule to prepare for one of the most important exams of your career. NightingalePrep is built entirely around self-guided study, so you can prepare at the convenience of your own home, on a schedule that actually fits your life — whether that's early mornings before a shift, late nights after clinicals, or weekends between other commitments.
Our platform is designed to work at your own pace. There's no cohort to keep up with and no countdown pressuring you into a fixed timeline — you move forward when you're ready, revisit what you need to, and spend more time exactly where you need it.
Comprehension over memorization
The NCLEX-RN doesn't reward memorized facts — it tests clinical judgment: how you think through a patient scenario, prioritize, and decide what to do next. That's why every practice question comes with a detailed rationale explaining not just what the correct answer is, but why it's correct and why the other options aren't. Our goal isn't to help you memorize answers — it's to help you actually understand the reasoning well enough to apply it to a scenario you've never seen before, which is exactly what the real exam requires.
To help every nursing degree holder prepare for and pass the NCLEX-RN with genuine clinical understanding — through self-paced, comprehension-focused study that fits around their real life, not the other way around.
A world where nursing licensure exam preparation is accessible, affordable, and genuinely understandable for every aspiring nurse, regardless of where they live or how they learn best — so that passion for nursing, not access to a classroom, is what determines who gets to practice.
